CloseThe 2022 S 1000 RR has many smart features that ensure seamless ride information. The motorcycle is fitted with a 12V / 8Ah battery with a three-phase 450W alternator to support these systems. The motorcycle has bright LED headlights and LED signals mounted on the screen. Similarly, the backlight is integrated into a single platform, including LED brake lights, turn signal, and tail light.
Behind the handle, the dash is equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display with four modes. Pure Ride mode only displays essential ride information, while the other three modes like Core Ride, display additional information. The screen is fully controllable and adjustable with the joystick controller on the left handlebar. It allows passengers to use on-screen features without stopping the motorcycle.
Engine power is transmitted electronically in four modes: Rain, Road, Power, and Racing. These measure engine power, throttle response, and other features to provide high performance even in extreme conditions. In addition, it has a ‘Race Pro’ mode with three pre-set options that allow for balancing all aspects of motorcycle performance in different track conditions.

The 2022 BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a water/oil-cooled 999cc four-cylinder four-stroke engine with four titanium cylinder valves. Unlike the previous model, the new engine is lightweight at nine pounds, contributing significantly to the motorcycle’s handling. The engine is equipped with a BMW ShiftCam technology that works with the camshaft to select the valve opening time and lift to increase engine output. Fuel is supplied to the engine through electronic fuel injection, and the motorcycle has a ride-by-wire throttle system. The engine of the S 1000 RR model produces 205 HP at 13,500 RPM and 83 lb.-ft of torque.
Engine power comes through a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox with a multi-disc anti-hopping clutch. Riders can pass the clutch by using the Gear Shift Assist Pro feature.
