The Ducati Diavel 1260 combines incredible performance with the ergonomics of a premium motorcycle. Its design reinterprets Diavel’s style with a modern look. It perfectly integrates the Testastretta DVT 1262 162 hp engine that beats at the heart of this new Diavel 1260.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel is characterized by an asymmetric and sophisticated graphic that combines glossy gray and matte black with sporty touches of yellow.
The Diavel 1260 S ‘Steel and Black’ joins the S version in Thrilling Black and Dark Stealth with a red frame and black wheels. The standard version of this model is available in Dark Stealth with a black frame and wheels.
Muscular lines and a striking front end emphasize the strong and restless personality of the new Diavel, which features a long, slim rear end with a 240 mm diameter rear wheel. The S version with the distinctive golden Öhlins suspension is the ultimate expression of the decisive and refined style of the Diavel 1260.

The Ducati Diavel made a splash when it landed back in 2010. The current 1260 is a second-generation machine with several improvements over the originals.
What hasn’t changed is the aggressive, front-facing look that makes it look like a sprinter squatting at the rope blocks, unlike anything else.
A chopped front fender helps keep the unsprung weight on the front axle while maintaining (barely) enough reach to keep the spray down. At the rear, a combination plate holder with a secondary hugger is mounted in front of the rear wheel to complete the coverage.
Strong, inverted forks support the front end and add performance. Pharo-Cyclops plus DHO strengthen exposed DNA.
A strip of LEDs are mounted on the leading edge of the cheek fairings/radiator shroud.
In a departure from typical motorcycle designs, intake caps on each side of the motorcycle at the top, radiator shrouds, and a chin fairing give the 1260 the equivalent of a hood scoop.
The 3.5-inch TFT screen provides all the necessary indicators with a high-contrast display and four different display modes. Also, it serves as an interface for various subsystems. A group of warning lights complement the instrument display and cover the rest of the bases.
The Ducati Diavel produces 95 lb.-ft of torque, reaching full throttle at 7,500 rpm. Still, the real star here is the 157 horsepower peak that the US version of the motorcycle reaches at 9,250 rpm. Yes, sports fans, it’s true that the Diavel siblings are well-suited to power, regardless of range, but the line has never been about the all-show, no-go angle.
Power is delivered through a slip and assisted clutch in preventing excessive back-torque from tearing the rear end apart when downshifting hard. It is then filtered through a six-speed transmission and sent down to the rear wheel via a rigid chain final drive. The Diavel 1260 has a top speed of 159 mph with a 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds.
If you hate having your keys thrown around and rattling the paint while riding, note that the 1260 comes with a hands-free ignition system.
You might leave the key in your pocket or attached to your belt or chain because HFI automatically turns on the ignition as soon as you enter it within a 4.5-foot detection radius.
